Rock wool board is a new type of fire proof material which has the strongest fire protection capability among the same kind of sandwich boards. Rock wool is made by taking basalt, dolomite and other natural ores as the main materials to make fiber through melting in high temperature, then adding proper amount of binding materials for solidification. 












Features: 

1. Excellent fireproof performance: Rock wool is non-combustible material with fireproof capability of over 1000⁰C. The experimental result proves that the fire resistance limit of rock wool sandwich board of 50mm thick is 30 minutes, 70 minutes for 75mm thickness and 120 minutes for 100mm thickness. 
2. Good performance for heat preservation and heat insulation: The heat preservation and insulation performance of rock wool board is obtained through calculation based on the data of the heat conductivity coefficient of the rock wool 0.043W/M²K and thickness of rock wool core material in corresponding proportion. 
3. Outstanding sound absorption and heat insulation effect: Rock wool sandwich board can effectively weaken noise transmission. Through test, it is found that the deafening effecting is up to RW=29-30dB if the rock wool board with a density of 105kg/m3 and a thickness of 50mm. Rock wool board also has excellent sound absorption effect, and capable of absorbing sound in comparatively wide frequency ranges. According to the standard of ISO35/85, the sound absorption performance of rock wool board can reach DELTA=15.7 dB(A).
